F.K.F Mark McNairy.. Goin’ Ham With New Amsterdam..

Greetings my fly followers,

Once again Friday has arrived and we have  of course one thing on our mind…. Fly KICKS!!!!!

With fall right around the corner, I thought why not “sharpen” our look a little bit and do some Ivy league worthy footwear, courtesy of Mr. Mark Mcnairy .

Mr. McNairy born a southern boy, straight outta North Carolina, started his career in clothing design. Assisting brands such as J. Press and Engineered Garments, Mark quickly made his presence in the fashion industry known. His branding and marketing for his pieces and his shoe line is most commonly known as Mark McNairy,  New Amsterdam.

His line of elegant footwear is themed from England style with New England flare and Ivy league taste and Fashion league results.  The collection is broken into two categories. “Red Brick Soul” , is a basically your staple choice of footwear for your run of the mill Ivy Leaguer. Ranging from the Classic Chukka Boot to your Longwing Lace-ups the soles of the shoes have red earth tone like lining.

Now the “New England collection” is basiclly the same as Red Brick Soul with a funky twist. Colors like Varsity red suede saddle shoes, or Kelly green Suede Chukka Boots is exactly why Mr. McNairy will be around awhile.

Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock for the pass 72hrs, then of course you would know that rapper Clifford Harris, AKA T.I AKA T.I.P  AKA.. The KING of the South, was released from prison. Anticipated to be his first single from his new album (title unknown at this time) The King, decided to hook up with ,soon to be rookie of the year Big K.R.I.T and made “I’m Flexin”

Me being a fellow Westsider to the A, this is clearly old school Chevy music.

F.K.F. “Born This Way… United Nude”

Hey Guys! So today is our Fly Kick Friday… WOOOOOHOOOO!!!!!! I know this is the most anticipated day for all our 9-5 /Mon-Fri workers, and our students; not only because it’s the weekend, but because you get to get a F.K.F. from the BEST blog in the country www.futureofflyness.com. OH YEAAAHHH!!!!!!!

When I saw the “United Nude Abstract Pump” I immediately thought of Lady GaGa’s record “Born This Way”  partly because of the designers name “United Nude” and also because we were BORN THIS WAY… nude. This shoe has an amazing stature… its very elegant, innovative and definitely an eye catcher. I can’t wait to get my hands on these bad boys!

United Nude was founded in 2003 by Rem D Koolhaas and Galahad Clark. Rem started off making shoes to get his girlfriend back that had left him. He created what is now called the “Mobius’ shoe. It didn’t work, the girl was gone. But what he created would never leave his side. Galahad came along from the famous “Clark’s Shoes” dynasty and here we have it “United Nude”.

N.M.M J.COLE….. Its Goin’ be a Cole winter…

Yea that’s right folks!..Greetings from the Skies…

I thought it would be appropriate to put ya’ll on to one of the joints that’s on the anticipated and long-awaited album from Roc-Nation’s very own J. Cole.  For my real J.Cole fans, this is the 3rd installment to the “Dollar and A Dream” vent session.

Cole, gives you images of stardom and success but, allows you to embrace the struggle in which it took to get to where he is on this track.  If you haven’t heard Dollar and A Dream 1 and 2, then you should mos def check them out. Also, the LP from which this song is on, entitled Cole Word “Sideline Story” release date is 9/27. So check him out.

What’s Goodie FOF Followers!!!! You guys are awesome…Just thought I would remind ya… LOL… WELL…  I have been on the prowl for something FUN and CHIC for the fall for us ladies… and I believe I’ve stumbled upon a great STAPLE for this fall.

PLAY SUITS!!!!!!!!!! AKA “Rompers” AKA “Don’t play me… Play lotto” LOL … These little rompers are sooooo FLY on so many levels… of course since it is fall you would pair it with some sheer tights or some FISHNETS… depending on the look you’re going for… or even with a cute blazer or an extra long cardigan… Since I love classiness I would def pair this romper with some sheer tights as seen below and a KILLER heel!!!

N.M.M …… YOKO!!!!!!

Mr. Krit has been very busy people. For those of you who don’t know, Big Krit, southern Phnom, who just recently inked a deal with Def Jam, not only spits that heat on the mic, but also is kill’em with the beats.

On this installment of New Music Mondays, Krit produced Track “Yoko” Remix features, Chris Brown, Berner, Wiz Khalifa, and the man his self Big Krit. The original version of the song featured on Chris Brown’s Mixtape BOY IN DETENTION , doesn’t feature Krit. I guess he felt it was only right he bless this banger.

It’s FLY KICK FRIDAY YALLLLLLL!!!!!!!!! LOL… If you haven’t noticed by now ladies and gentlemen FUTUREOFFLYNESS.COM is not IN the loop, but BEFORE the loop. We wouldn’t have it any other way! As you see below our fabulous CAPTAIN has made it very clear with the Nike Air Mag Post… He deserves a round of applause for that find… REAL TALK! Just wanted to get that out there… NOW back to FKF.

Ladies and Gentlemen FKF Presents: Spinot by Giuseppe Zanotti… when I saw these… I thought… “RENT MISSERS” then I quickly came back to reality because my husband would kill me! LOL these booties are ridiculous from the design all the way to the STEEL TOE!!!

 

Giuseppe Zanotti started as a DJ in the 1980’s in eclectic and high fashioned nightclubs. He then took his curiosity for art and fashion to Paris and Milan sitting in on the runway and fashion shows watching attentively. With his obsession with women’s feet and his artsy imagination Mr. Zanotti took the early 90’s by storm.  He started as a freelance designer, but with his talent and energy he managed to create and maintain what we know today as THE “Giuseppe Zanotti Design”

F.K.F Future of Flyness …goes Marty McFLY!!!!!!

Ok Guys this is a very special Fly Kick Friday, for one of two reasons. 1. I get to talk about two of my most favorite things, movies and Shoes. 2. I get to show you some of the coolest shoes ever. Future of Flyness is about to get Futuristic …

 

Of course everybody who has seen, the Back to the Future trilogy remembers the Nike inspired self lacing high top sneaker in the B2F II sequel. Hands down one of the best, fashion references in a movie. Since then, there have been a lot of sneakers modeled and themed after the futuristic shoe by Nike, including the Air Yeezy’s and the Air Yeezy’s 2.

But, what if I told you there weren’t any models anymore.  No off brands kicks that “resemble” the shoes, but the actually shoes existed…

 

Well the good people at Nike have done it. The Nike Air Mag, which Nike has held the patent on for quite sometime, is actually a REAL wearable shoe. The shoe functionality is in question still, but it is said from sources that the shoe does have the “lace it self” mechanism in the shoe.

 

Now for the good and bad news… 1500 Pairs of the shoes are going to be apart of  a auction that began Sept. 8th to Sept 18th (10 days). Each day 150 pairs will be auctioned on eBay, via Nike and the Michael J. Fox Foundation, (Mr. McFly his self). All the proceeds will go to his charitable organization. Fly shit for a good cause is always good.
